End-Of-Summer Fun With Your Pup
We are days away from fall. While some of us CANNOT WAIT for the cooler season, others are holding on to every last bit of summer. If you fall into the latter group, here are some late-summer activities you can do with your pup.
Take a Hike
Now that things are starting to cool off, you can finally take that hike you’ve been wanting to do all summer. Bring your pup, some water, and walk essentials that make your hike easy.
Have a Picnic
Why have a picnic in the late summer? Well the cooler temperatures make for a more comfortable environment and it typically means parks are less crowded (AKA it’s easier to find the pawfect spot to relax with your friends and fur-babies). Check out our tips for keeping your pups safe during picnics.
End of Summer Photo Shoot
Why not commemorate the season with some cute photos? Head to your favorite summer spots and take the cutest photos of your fur-baby! Need some tips on getting the best snapshots? Read some of our tips!
Make Ice Cream
No better way to celebrate the warmest season of the year than with a frozen treat! Check out these 15 recipes for easy doggie ice creams.
“Back-To-School” Shopping
Remember that excitement you felt as a kid when you went back-to-school shopping? You picked out the perfect backpack and sweatshirt that would show off your personality. Why not do that with your pup? Treat them to some accessories and treats from your local store!
One Final Beach Day
Nothing says “Goodbye Summer” like one final day enjoying the beach. Let your pups dig and splash one last time. Make sure to bring Metro Paws Pet Wipes (in Natural Unscented or Charcoal Peppermint) to clean your pups paws before they get back into the car.
Tell us pet parents, are you holding on to every last bit of summer, or are you ready for fall?
