How does it work?

  • When our ULTRA Degradable Poop Bags are disposed of in an active microbial environment like a landfill or marine area, they attract over 600 different types of microbes.
  • These microbes colonize, form a biofilm around the bag, and begin to create enzymes. 
  • When these enzymes make contact with the ULTRA Degradable Poop Bag, a catalyst is formed that assists in breaking down the plastic and enables it to completely return to nature, leaving behind only small amounts of biomass and water & NO MICROPLASTICS

What’s the difference between Degradable and ULTRA Degradable bags?

Metro Paws has 2 types of waste bags: Degradable and ULTRA Degradable. Our Degradable Bags have an EPI additive that allows them to degrade at a controlled rate under certain conditions. The ULTRA Degradable Bags have a formula that degrades up to 25% in 30 days (in or out of a landfill) and ultimately leave behind zero microplastics.

What does it mean that your bags leave no microplastics behind?

During the degradation process, enzymes break down the bags and enable them to completely return to nature. They’ll only leave behind biomass and water, but no harmful microplastics.

Will these bags start degrading before I use them?

No, they only begin degrading after you use them.

Will these bags fit my current poop bag dispenser?

Yes, they are designed to fit standard poop bag cases.

Why do the designs on your bags not go all the way up?

The large colorblock at the top helps you know which end is up. No more fussing with bags to figure out where to open them.

Are these scented?

All one-time orders over $40 ship free! You can expect your order to ship out within 2 business days after you place it, and you'll receive an email with tracking information.

Returns

If you are dissatisifed with your order or if you received a damaged/tampered item, all you have to do is email woof@metropaws.com within 30 days of delivery to request a replacement or refund.

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs and will also be charged a restocking fee, which will be deducted from your refund amount. Items must be returned in original packaging. Refunds will be processed when we receive the returned items.
