1,000,000 Dead Dogs

Over 1,000,000 dogs are facing certain death in the streets of Baghdad.  In a country with little law and order,  economic, social, or political stability the lives of dogs are also not guaranteed.  Already over 42,000 dogs have ben put to death by firing squads across the city.  The City of Baghdad has an estimated 1.5 Million stray dogs rumages through the war torn instable city.

In a city with already strong economic issues these murderous gangs are financed with 35 million Iraqi dinars, about £20,000 from the Baghdad Governorate Council and mayor's office.
